Hacker Cup is Meta's annual open programming competition. Open to participants around the world, we invite you to apply problem-solving and algorithmic coding skills to advance through each year’s online rounds, win prizes, and have a chance to make it to the global finals and win the grand prize.
The top 2,000 participants in Round 2 will win a shirt. If you qualify for Round 3 and finish in the top 200, you'll win a shirt with a top-200 badge on the sleeve instead of the normal shirt.
Just like last year, t-shirts can be claimed from your Hacker Cup Profile after we have finished plagiarism checks for the Round 3 (or after we have finished plagiarism checks for Round 2 if you didn't qualify for Round 3 and have no chance of winning a top-200 shirt).

1st: $20,000
2nd: $10,000
3rd: $5,000
4th: $3,000
5th: $1,000
6th - 10th: $500
11th - 15th: $300
16th - 25th: $200
Human Track - What's the structure of the contest?
The 2024 season of Hacker Cup will take place over 5 rounds:
Practice Round (Fri. Sept 20th, 10am Pacific — Mon. Sep. 23th, 10am Pacific)
Round 1 (Sat. Oct. 5th, 10am — 1pm Pacific)
Round 2 (Sat. Oct. 19th, 10am — 1pm Pacific)
Round 3 (Sat. Nov. 2nd, 10am — 1pm Pacific)
Final Round (Sat. Dec. 7th, 6am — 10am, Online)
