Deletebased on observation/scores of people id say the difficulty of this year's paper is the same as last years.

gold: 19-20
(imaginary r2): 14
silver: 11-12
bronze: 8-9
hm: 5-6
this is just a rough gauge and not super accurate, I would like to have some other opinions on what the cutoffs might be. thanks!

ReplyDeleteI don't know if 19 is guaranteed gold, gold is tricky because it usually includes r2 scores so it was a pretty rough estimate. as for whether the paper this year was harder than last year, the scores attained by the people around me/in this blog seems to suggest so but I don't know if this is reliable because of the small demographic size. but based on personal opinion its about the same. and to the person who scored 25/25, congratulations.
also if yall have any other estimates on the cutoffs please post them here so we can get a better estimate thanks!

"whats the cutoff for gold? is 20/25 enough? how about junior team?"

These inconsistencies make it very difficult to believe that he/she got 25/25, or that he/she even took the senior paper.

My school gave us the list based on order of merit. This is correct.
