IOI 2012 Selection Test Results

Congratulations to the following students for making it into the IOI 2012 Singapore Team:
1. Ranald Lam, RI Year 4
2. Hubert Teo, RI Year 6
3. Bernard Teo, HCI Year 4
4. Gan Wei Liang, HCI Year 5

Muhammad Haikal from NUSH Year 4 came in 5th. I think he has a very good chance in IOI 2013. Well done Haikal, and try again next year!

Lim Jeck and Lim Min came in 1st with a time of 1 hr 2 mins to complete a 500-pc puzzle.

IMO Hall of Fame - Teodor von Burg

Teodor von Burg from Serbia is someone to look out for in IMO 2012. He has already acquired 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze from 5 IMO participations, and this year, he is taking part again. It sure looks like after winning the IMO Hall of Fame champion last year, Lisa Sauermann will be handing over the reins to Teodor von Burg, after this year's IMO.



Wonder Full Laser Show at Marina Bay Sands

We went to Marina Bay Sands last Sunday to watch the Wonder Full Laser Show.



The video is taken using our new Samsung MV800 camera which we bought 1 day before, from PC Show, at $399 (with a free 8" android tablet, which we gave away since we already have 3 iPad + 1 Samsung Galaxy Tab at home).

You can watch the 15-minute laser show from Sunday to Thursday, 8 pm and 9.30 pm, and Friday to Saturday, 8 pm, 9.30 pm and 11 pm.
Venue: Event Plaza at the Promenade, Marina Bay Sands
